 The new Charmed is killing me. So many secrets, so many cliffhangers. Mel might have two love interests in the long run, Niko and the Sarcana chick. Maggie is dating a half-demon. 

What was their mother's role in the Sarcana? What do the demon bros want? Can we trust the Council? AHHHH

I'm so glad they got picked up for the rest of the season.

I am honestly loving the heck out of this show. It makes me happy. :D

I really adore so many things about it. I'm in love with Macy. I adore Mel, even if she's too stubborn at times. Maggie is too cute. Harry even won me over after a few episodes.

That they actually have a practitioner on staff and seem to be working that into how they present magic also really helps me. I had a hard time getting into the original because it was so glaringly divorced from Wicca while still using the terms and paraphernalia. That and there wasn't much of an immediate plot to speak of, little call to action (which was sort of a WB problem).

God yes re: original and Wicca in name only. It was excessively irritating, particularly on the rewatches.

I fell in love with the sisters immediately, they're all so great and interesting characters in their own right. Agreed re: Harry. I actually didn't even mind him shacking up in their attic! :D

I am sad about Niko though. I appreciate that she wasn't killed, but still. :(

I am tickled about who they cast as the demon boss/big bad. That actor does slimy little shit well. :D

I was sad about Niko, but I sort of have hopes that she'll return later, and it'll be hard for Mel and Niko not to fall in love all over again.

I'm so used to not trusting shows to bring back characters like her that it literally didn't occur to me that she would be back. Is it confirmed that she will be?

You know, I don't think it has been confirmed? It just seemed so unlikely that they'd have a character there for a few episodes and given a goodbye in such a big way and never bring her back... And others seem to assume she'll return at some point. Maybe she won't. I hope she does. After whatever happens between Mel and Jada. It seems like they'd run into each other again.

I hope she does. She seems so neat! I'm a couple of eps behind, but Jada was hot so I hope we see more of her too :D
