So, the episode starts with Puck making me want to punch him in the throat for feeling sorry for himself. So he and Quinn aren’t dating? Then Rachel does the favor of making me feel the same for her. But that only lasts so long, because then I want to punch Schue in the neck more than any of them because he’s a damn grown up, or supposed to be.
“A glee club is about a myriad of voices coming together!”-- So stop FUCKING giving all of the solos to RACHEL and
*THROAT PUNCH*
Mercedes blows Puck off at first because of how he treats Quinn. FEMSLASH SCORE!! Hee.
As Rachel grandstands about how everyone sucks but her, karma is feeling frisky and she loses her voice. “Spoiled annoying only child”-- Yep! Why the hell is Finn taking her to the hospital instead of her FATHERS?
Well, I don’t understand why there’s no acknowledgement that Quinn was supposed to have something with Puck, or if they weren’t going to do it, then they shouldn’t have said he was her boyfriend? I guess she doesn’t give a flip what Puck does. But I loved his song with Mercedes. It was fun. I also don’t get why we get nothing but a small glimpse of Quinn looking sad while Finn sings his mooning song over Rachel. When Puck and Mercedes were singing, like always whenever Mercedes is singing, Quinn looks gleeful.
This is true. Looking over the past couple of episodes, in “Sectionals” when Mercedes does her ballad, Quinn is flipping out, her hands on her face and then together, clapping and practically squealing. In “The Power of Madonna,” she sees Mercedes and Kurt out there singing, and while Schue is going “omg what about
(Having nothing better to do, Diana Agron practices her acting in the background in the hopes that she will get a plot again someday.)
Oh, and the friendly little talk between them is just adorable. They have friendlove: Mercedes doesn’t want to hurt Quinn by being interested in Puck, and Quinn just wants what’s best for Mercedes. ♥ She can move in with Mercedes so she doesn’t have to live with baby daddy. (They jossed my theory that she was couch surfing. How mean that she can’t have bacon!)
Mercedes/Santana duet- better than the original. Bunny: Mercedes and Santana fight over Quinn. :DDDD
Poor Kurt. I love him to death, and he’s afraid that his dad won’t love him as much because Finn is the son he thinks Burt always wanted. *snuggles him* AHHH That Mellencamp song! LOL!
Chris Colfer cracks my shit up. He’s great as a flamboyant twink or a grunge redneck. AHHH and his second song. I literally burst into tears when he talked to his dad. They are the BEST, most honest and wonderful part of this show. I’m still shaky. *luffs them*
“Does he mean a burglar alarm?”-- Gay Shark of the episode
*waits for the blogs to react to the scene where Finn brings Rachel to see someone who has it harder than she does* o.O
*wonders if Rachel will get to do the same for him later on considering he whines about as much as she does*
Boo for not having Quinn sing a solo. I got my hopes up when Schue said everyone. (Also… Tina? Artie?) I’m happy that I got two out of Mercedes and Kurt, though, and one for Santana.
Next week is the ep directed by Joss Whedon. As you can see, Joss always recruits his people for his projects, and so we get Dr. Horrible to come be mean to Schue, and as you know, I’m all for people being mean to Schue :D
Also, Junior is on CMT. Yeah, the movie with pregnant Arnold S. This movie is like a fanfic.
