I took a random sampling of some of my stories to see if I'd get different authors. The following authors must be overly fond of adjectives, and perhaps fans of the semicolon and the dash.
No One Noticed the Cat is like Agatha Christie. (Hee. Mystery!)
Snow Bunnies Melt and Toy Soldiers Break (1 + 2) is like Dan Brown.
Momento Mori and Forget Me Not are like Stephen King. (Chloe-centric is Stephen King mode? Hmm. However, despite Stephen King’s bestseller nature, there are very, very few comments on these. I don’t know if that’s style or content related.)
SupesFans vs LexMinions is like Chuck Palahniuk as is You Make Me Sick
(This is interesting as I’ve never read him, but these two stories are both quite popular, so maybe it’s a style I should cultivate. Their content is wildly different.)
