My only real spoilers for Glee come from the promos. So.

Okay, so why the fuck is Quinn back in her cheerleading outfit in the promos? Really, why? Do they WANT to erase a year's worth of character development? Because I have a hard time imagining that they're going to devote a lot of time to her being a better popular person. There are all these complications in her life that I DON'T WANT ERASED.

She shouldn't join again because 1) Sue treated her very very badly and 2) she's had all these realizations over the past year, and is now friends with Mercedes. Why would she want to rejoin, and could she, knowing what she now knows about how her old friends treated people? Have they forgotten her motivation to get out of this town?

Or is it just so that Finn and Rachel can have another hitch in their ment2B truluv? Because the promos have Finn talking to Quinn as Rachel looks on with motherfucking huge doe eyes. WOE IS RACHEL! Also, punch Finn in the face for telling you at the end of the season that he was interested and then turning around to Quinn again. Boys. But it's really the writers' fault for treating most of the cast as pawns in the Finkerbelle drama of doom. Last on Glee, we hated Jesse because he was keeping apart the OTP! Now we can hate Quinn for existing! Yay!

The only interesting way that this can go is if Quinn joins up again because she feels the pull to have her old life back, but then after Finn gets on the Cheerios, Quinn has quit because she knows she isn't that girl anymore. Can't be that girl anymore. She's in an entirely different place than she was last year, and her popularity isn't going to come back just because she's on the Cheerios again. She's still the girl in Glee club who had the baby, and now her parents are split up.

Roar. Really, Santana needs to become head Cheerio, so we can give her some proper villainous development and backstory (and have Naya sing and dance more).

Positively, I'm still myeh on Rachel, but I like her new haircut. Finn and Kurt on the Cheerios sounds amusing, though. :/

I'm sure you'll hear lots of more delightful ranting from me as the show actually starts. Hurray!
